Why take a Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) course?
Mindfulness teaching is a powerful, secular, clinically-proven tool, to help reduce the debilitating effect of stress & anxiety in adults & children.
Take this one moment in time:
• Are you lost in the past or preoccupied with the future?
• Do you want to lead a more purposeful life, become a better leader, colleague, parent or friend?
• Are you seeking a non-pharmacological way of managing anxiety or depression?
• Do you need help with managing chronic pain?
Mindfulness is this moment, awake, alive & aware. Right here, right now. Be resilient in the face of worry. Be engaged despite fear. Train your brain to be in the moment & aware of your thoughts, without getting caught up in the past or the future.
Guests who participate in the 8 week MBSR course are taken on an empowering journey that will leaves them with the one thing we all go on vacation to do: reduce stress.
The course includes floor-seated meditation and standing and lying yoga. All elements of the course can be easily, non-judgementally & discreetly adapted to be undertaken sitting in a chair for those who have mobility issues or if participants find being seated more comfortable or relaxing.
